Gia Whitlock is a mixed media artist working in paint, and whatever surface will accept the paint. Throughout her fifteen-year art festival career, Whitlock has shown paintings at Art in the Pearl Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, (Portland, OR) Bellevue Arts Museum BAM ArtsFair,(Bellevue, WA) and Salem Art Fair, (Salem, OR) along with galleries in Portland and Astoria, Oregon.

In 2022, Whitlock left the festival scene to join Blackfish Gallery, one of  Portland’s oldest artist-run exhibition spaces. While at Blackfish, Whitlock showed a variety of mixed media assemblage and sculptures as part of a solo exhibition titled “Hot Pink Justice.” Since leaving Blackfish, Whitlock is pursuing a Masters of Fine Art in Visual Studies, at Pacific Northwest College of Art and is expected to graduate Summer 2025!
